1. Project elephant was launched in 1992 by the government of India ministry of environment and Forest. 


Objective-  To protect elephants their habitat and corridor


                  -To address issue of man animal conflict

                    -Welfare of captive elephants.

Further- animal rights are protected under section 51 a g of the wild life protection Act 1972 which makes its citizens duty to protect wildlife and show compassions following cases.

In concurrent list both centre and state are given to power to protect cruelty to animal and protect wildlife animals and birds. 

In the case of Kerala, the culprits are likely to be prosecuted under the wildlife protection act 1972. People behind this crime can face minimum of seven years in jail.

7. 1.5 crore dairy farmers to get kisan credit card.

cards will be provided by ministry of fisheries animal husbandry and dairying.

General KCC limit without collateral is 1.6 lakh rupees. If former have typhoid with unions producers, then without collateral limit will increase upto 3 lakh. 

Scheme with sprit of aatmanirbhar Bharat

Kisan credit card- introduce in August 1998.

Model scheme by- National bank for agriculture and rural development (NABARD) 

On recommendation of RVGupta committee.

RV Gupta committee:- provide long term loans for agriculture needs to agriculture sector and bye 2019 for fisheries and animal husbandry. 

8. Tropical cyclone Nisarga: Hits Maharashtra and Gujrat

Name nisarga was given by Bangladesh.

The name of cyclone in general tropical cyclone are named according to the rules at regional level. Tropical cyclone receives the name alphabetic. Proposed by national metallurgical and hydrological service (NMHS) of w m o of specific region.

Women and men name alternated.

New Delhi tropical cyclone centre is responsible four name in West Bengal and Arabian Sea cyclone.
