1. Nelson Mandela International Day 18 July.
First time observed at 18 July 2009.
Nelson Mandela was born in in Transki South Africa on 18 July 1918. He was anti apartheid activist. He was jailed in 1963 e and released in 1990. In prison for 26 year.
After release he continued his struggle against apartheid. His efforts resulted in him becoming elected as South Africa's president in 1994.
The day remembers Mandela achievement in working towards conflict resolution democracy human right peace and reconciliation (सुलह).
It's a global call to action for people to their ability to have a positive effects on others around them.

US Secretary of energy Dan Brouillette and Indian minister of petroleum and natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan shared meeting of US INDIA SEP.
established in April 2018 in direction of US President and Prime Minister of India, recognising the strategic importance of energy to USA India bilateral relationship.
SEP four pillars of cooperation- Power and energy efficiency, oil gas, renewable energy, sustainable growth.
Through these pillers USA and India are working to strengthened and modernize the power grid and distribution utilities for clean affordable and reliable energy access.
Also leading joint research and development through USA India partnership to advance clean energy research on smart grid and energy storage.
India also looking reserve crude oil in USA as USA has 714 million barrel of oil storage capacity. India store 5.33 millions tonns (38 million barrels) hardly enough to meet its 9.5 days need.

Char dham project- construction of two Lane Express National highway in uttarakhand connecting Badrinath Kedarnath Gangotri Yamunotri.

133 kilometre of road delayed due to forest clearance. Because supreme Court appointed high power committee for report on development programme.
